My overview about this semester course
In terms of my opinion of technology's integration to education, my view hasn't changed at all, as I was already in favour of adapting technology into teaching. However, throughout the lessons we had in this mid term, I have not supported the fundamental of this view of mine, but also gained some other perspectives to enhance it. For example, for the "Creating a Digital Story" task, I discovered a new app with advice of my friend Selen, I discovered a new app for collaborative painting website, Magma, which enforced the collaboration of our work in our group for the given task as well as collaborative writing and reading. I also enjoyed my time drawing a lot, so I can consider that the digital story task was my favourite. Not only that, we changed the tone of our voice for the roleplay part as well and had many laughters during the voice recording part. As the least favourite part, I can say that it was the last one, AI interview part. I normally have a better app for that, named CharacterAI. The website we usedmy was more complicate to use, especially the exporting part. I could export the file, but the transcription file wouldnt open so I had to use google documents to embed the link on the blog. The task also required a lot of self revision and writing process more than the prior ones. Normally I wouldn't mind that much because I like writing. However, considering the fact that the task was given a few days before the final term exams, I barely had the time to prepare and complete it. My suggestion would be considering the busy times of the students and giving them the best space for the peak performance in order to provide the maximum receive rate from the course.
